A_youngster,_clutching_his_soldier_father,_gazes_upward_while_the_latter_lifts_his_wife_from_the_ground_to_wish_her..._
Lowering his bag, Eisenstein stares into the doorway, snowflakes accumulating around his boots.

“I’m ho-ome!”

“Daddy?”

Eisenstein blinks. A tiny face peeks out. Pajama feet pad forward.

He stands, arms wide.

“Come here.”

Clara Ray Rusinek Klein was reading by the age of four and wrote her first story at the age of seven. She has been writing ever since. Ms. Klein is bilingual in Spanish and English. She holds a BA magna cum laude in Political Science with a minor in Religious Studies.
