UPDATE Tuesday 16th Feb: Our Challenge is FULL!

Thank you so much to everyone who registered! If you missed out, please leave your name and email below and you’ll be on our priority alert list for our next challenge.

Do you have enough love in your life? Do you feel loved, cherished, valued and appreciated all the time?

No?

Then I guess, like 99% of us, you’re not feeling as valued, as cared for, as nourished as you’d like to feel – somewhere down deep in your soul.

I am so excited to introduce the Cherish You! Challenge: Learning to love yourself one step at a time.

Over five days we’ll challenge you with five small, simple steps towards a life where your cup is overflowing with love, appreciation and caring.

It all starts with you.

The WHY

You’ve heard of the law of attraction, right? You’ve heard the saying ‘what you believe, you can achieve’. You know that to manifest something like love into your life, you’ve first got to imagine it’s already here.

And there’s the rub.

It’s so hard to imagine being loved, nourished, cared for and appreciated when all we do is give, give, give. It seems like we’re always filling everyone else’s tanks to overflowing and looking after the needs of those we love. And our warning light for low fuel is constantly on.

What do you do when the warning light comes on in your car telling you you’ve only a small amount of petrol left in the tank? Hopefully, you pull into the nearest petrol station and fill ‘er up. Because the alternative is too embarrassing to contemplate.

Not so easy when it’s your own heart-tank that’s sounding echo-y and perilously close to running dry.

What do you do when you’ve got nothing left to give, and those you love are looking to you for their usual sustenance?

You could fall in a heap (and I’m sure it’s happened if this is a pattern of yours), or you could learn how to top up your tank without needing to check into a health spa for a month.

Want to learn?

Join us for five days where you learn to:

top up your tank so you’ve always got enough to give to those you love

never run on empty again

stop the cycle of illness or injury from running constantly on empty

love yourself in a positive, healthy way

be less needy and more confident

walk taller and make stronger decisions

attract more love and affection, nurture and appreciation!

and if you’re still feeling icky and squirmy because I talked about ‘loving yourself’, maybe these wise words can help:

We are wont to condemn self-love; but what we really mean to condemn is contrary to self-love. It is that mixture of selfishness and self-hate that permanently pursues us, that prevents us from loving others and that prohibits us from loving ourselves.

~Paul Valery

So how does this work?

Commencing Tuesday 16th February for five days

You’ll receive an email first thing in the morning with a simple challenge for you to complete. They are fairly straight forward, and most of them wont take up too much time (we’re working on about 15 mins each day)

At the end of the day, you’ll be invited to answer a question about the challenge of the day.

And the best bit? Community and conversation around each of the five small challenges is built in! So if you’re having trouble, need help or have an experience you’d love to share – you’ll get it, and more!

We’ve partnered with Ruzuku.com who are generously providing us free use of their new application (in return for feedback, so we must remember that:) They are currently in testing mode (I’m a bit confused over alpha- or beta-testing, but anyway, some sort of pre-launch testing phase) and that means we get a test-drive of this wonderful new program and hopefully help shape it into something truly useful and even life-changing.

So, are you in?

Is it time you started to fill your own tank?

Join Us – it’s Free!

We’ll send you an email with all the details – simply leave your first name and email address below to secure your spot (only 50 available). Act fast – that way we can get you all signed up and ready for a wonderful 5 days!

Register now!

P.S. You’ll receive an email asking you to confirm your interest. You won’t be registered until you click on the link in that email. It’s all to do with stopping the spammers…

P.P.S. It’s free. It’s only 5 days. You could learn something. Your life could improve a little… what have you got to lose?

It's time to spread a little kindness and share a little joy! Join us for our June Kindness Challenge...

With a theme like Kindness this month, we’re ready for a Big, Hearty, Man-sized Challenge! Are you up for it?

Often we’re so focussed on the doings of our own life, the chores and tasks that must get done, and the thoughts whirring around inside our heads that we forget, for a while, to look outwards at the people we come in contact with daily.

We don’t need to look far to see where a little dash of kindness could brighten someones day and give their heart a lift.

Little acts (and big acts) of kindness have a habit of restoring our faith in the power of love and compassion. They fill up the heart of the giver as well as the receiver.

So, today, tomorrow and throughout June, we’re challenging you to notice the moments where a little dash of kindness, a quiet good deed or caring word, could make a difference. And then, act.

Practice random acts of kindness and senseless acts of beauty.

Karen Wallace (all rights reserved)" src="http://thecalmspace.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/dsc00370.jpg" alt="" width="240" height="350" />This month, as we explore simplicity in all its guises, we’d like to throw out a challenge to you.

Become attuned to the seasons.

If it’s winter, like it is here, enjoy the bracing fresh air as you throw a ball or go for a walk. Enjoy the warmth of the sun without fear of baking. Cook delicious soups and casseroles and stir a fragrant risotto. Make pasta with the kids. Enjoy a glass of red in front of the fire. Curl up with a good book under a snugly throw rug. Watch the clouds skid across the sky, driven by the cold winter winds.

And for our northern friends, relish the warmth of summer. Relish the long hours of daylight, and make the most of the extended afternoons to spend time outdoors. Notice the scents of summer, how the heat really brings out the frangrance of your garden. Relish the feel of water against your skin as you swim. Enjoy the sand beneath your feet on your beach sojourn. Eat light, delicious, fresh salads. Savour a long, cool drink with lots of ice, the drips of condensation providing added coolness to your skin.

Are you up to the challenge?

I have been inspired to try something a little different in my response to our challenge this month on What Really Fires You Up?

Joanna (The Writing Space) encouraged me to try out this new technology tool. It’s called Voicethread. It’s quick, simple and free to set up. And the best part about it? You can leave comments on the ‘thread’ – by voice or by writing your contribution. You also get to hear my voice, which sounds really weird to me when I play it back – but I am hoping sounds normal to you ; )

Click the arrow to start playing, there are only two slides, and doesn’t take more than a minute or two. Then you can leave me a message (you need to register with Voicethread to leave a message on the thread, or simply leave a comment on this post).

We’d love to hear from you!
