We’re doing something different here at The Calm Space this month.

Breaking the pattern.

It’s summer here in Australia. It’s hot. The kids are on holidays until the end of January. And it’s time for a break.

And, personally, I’m moving house sometime this month… into the beautiful new home we’ve been building for, oh, forever (not really, but some days it seems that way:)

AND

There is 39 months of goodness residing in our archives! Yep – this is The Calm Space’s 40th month of publication.

Rather than simply tell you to go, explore, I thought I’d do some mining for you and bring you a buffet of some of our most popular, our most poignant, and our most meaningful posts from the past 3+ years. So right through this month, I’ll be bringing you deliciousness from all our contributors – past and present.

(And occasionally, something personal from me, just because I feel like it:)

But this isn’t just about me, and my choices.

It’s also about you – our most precious reader.

Here’s the deal.

Share your favourite post from Calm Space, the one that made a difference, the one that made you think, the one that inspired you or calmed you!

Leave a comment with the name of the post (or preferably the link), and a short note about why you’ve chosen it.

At the end of the month, I’ll do a wrap up (including a link back to you, if you’ve a presence on the net).

  1. What an unfair question you ask, Káren. How can anyone possibly choose a favourite article amongst all of the wise words published here? ;)

Firstly, I thought of Annie (you know how I love her Spiritual Space), then there’s Bo, Anne, Carla, Linda…everyone!

This is one of my favourites from Annie, where she speaks of the brilliant inspiration of Dr. Wayne W Dyer ~

Hi Karen .. Happy New Year and it sounds like it will start happily when you move into your new home .. Yay .. have a fantastic year ahead .. and may the month of January be a chance to regroup, recharge and refresh. Cheers – Hilary

  3. Ha Joanne! I know, I know – I am having trouble selecting just ‘some’ of the articley goodness in our archives! They all are wonderful…

Thanks for sharing that post by Annie! Love it!

Hello Hilary! It’s so lovely to hear from you again, Happy New Year to you also. Our new home has been in the planning and construction stages for what seems like an eon, so I am itching to get in there and get settled! Thanks for being understanding about the need to pull back and regroup. xx

  4. Rene says:

Mine would have to be “Finding My Purpose and Direction” by Stephanie Crawford as I have printed it and scanned it so that I can read it every once and awhile.

At the time it was printed in May 2010, it was when I was at a crosswords with what to plan for the coming year and everything that Stephanie wrote was almost down to a tee with me, so I could identify with her story and noted that if she could find her solution then so can I.

  5. Happy New Year Rene! I know Stephanie will be thrilled to hear that her words meant so much to you. Thanks so much for sharing. xx
