Foot Bath Bliss for the Festive Season

After a day baking in the kitchen, whipping up all the delights of the festive season; or trudging the shops looking for the ideal Christmas present, our legs and especially our feet can end up feeling worse for wear.
Now is the time to show a little gratitude to our hard working feet. Fill a bucket with cool water and add some epsom salts or simple rock salt – whatever you have handy. Throw in a handful of your son’s marbles (or those ones you keep to put in the bottom of a vase of flowers). The marbles act like little massagers as you roll your feet over them, getting at all those pressure points on your soles.
Don’t forget the glass of bubbles in your hand! (And a handy waiter to top up your glass every now and again:)
Sit.
Plunge feet into bucket.
Relax.
When you’re thoroughly soaked, pat your feet dry and rub in some luscious moisturiser.
Ahh that’s better…

Oh yes, the foot bath. So relaxing yet it is the one thing I never think to do. A drop or two of essential oils and I am in heaven. Thank you for reminding me.
oh yeah.. I am sooo ready..I have this peppermint foot scrub that makes me feel like I could run a marathon. I wouldn’t, but atleast I feel like I could..:-)
Thanks Anne, I forgot to mention the essential oils, didn’t I? Which ones would you use after a long day on your feet?
Oooh, Vitania, I love the sound of a peppermint foot scrub, especially after a long hot day of trudging the shops in the heat!
