Permission to change! I listened and I heard and I acted. We're not doing Christmas lunch in the heat this year. We've bucked tradition and are going with an evening meal on Christmas Eve - when at least the sun will have set and it will be a little cooler. That way, we won't all end up like melted blobs... Oh, and everyone is pitching in and bringing part of the meal. Yay! And I also would like to echo Anne's comment - you DO write so well!
