Oh Vitania, what a beautiful and inspirational article, thank you!

When you talk about your kids being in ‘ornament eating mode’ I remembered the year I found one of my favourite glass balls lying shattered under the tree. It wasn’t until later that we found out my youngest had thought the balls looked like wonderful things to hit with his little plastic golf stick! Imagine his shock and horror (he was about 2 1/2) when the first ‘ball’ he hit shattered! After that, the glass balls went in bowls up high, and the more indestructible ornaments went on the tree

I love your idea to focus on doing one or two things really beautifully, I’m definitely taking a leaf out of your book this year. Now, to decide what those things will be…
