Amy, I love this post. It reminds me of myself and my mother. My mother will recognize trees, plants, shrubs, anything that grows out of the ground and has to stop and admire it. Me on the other hand, love travel.. anything with geography and landmarks architecture, nature, trails-- all get my attention to photograph it a million times. It's not an gift I guess, but a passion. For my mom she's a true green thumb and she has a gift.

thanks for sharing you gift with the rest of us. I enjoy your tweets, posts and your photos.

take care!

You have a real gift for vision and imagery. I can still bring up photos you've taken in my mind - they are that gorgeous. I'm so glad you have the gift and are willing to share it.

Alrighty, this is a big Oooops on my part - and when I saw your first comment, Janice, I realised I'd forgotten to change the author to Amy! This is most definitely Amy speaking, although my Serenity Space is spookily similar in vein this month...

Thanks for working that out Janice, and yes, we all do have so much in common!

PS I'm confused. I followed the link and thought at first this was Amy's, smiling in recognition of the spider web watching and knowing it was an Amy photo - even wondering if our kids went to the same drama classes - then I saw "written by Karen Wallace" and simply thought of how much the two of you have in common. Please let me know so I can make amends.

This was beautiful, Karen. It really resonated with me and probably with Amy and all of your other contributors and readers, too. I feel the Calm Space community are probably all life's 'noticers'; more than that, we have an overwhelming urge to share and learn from beauty and use its power to connect with others, touch them in that place where their own love of beauty resides.

Spookily, my kids go to drama classes, too, and one of the classes was near a loch - endless opportunities! You'll see it when you make your Scottish tour.
