It reminds me of myself and my mother. My mother will recognize trees, plants, shrubs, anything that grows out of the ground and has to stop and admire it. Me on the other hand, love travel.. anything with geography and landmarks architecture, nature, trails-- all get my attention to photograph it a million times. It's not an gift I guess, but a passion. For my mom she's a true green thumb and she has a gift. thanks for sharing you gift with the rest of us. It really resonated with me and probably with Amy and all of your other contributors and readers, too. I feel the Calm Space community are probably all life's 'noticers'; more than that, we have an overwhelming urge to <i>share</i> and learn from beauty and use its power to connect with others, touch them in that place where their own love of beauty resides. Spookily, my kids go to drama classes, too, and one of the classes was near a loch - endless opportunities! You'll see it when you make your Scottish tour. This was beautiful, Karen.
