As this month is all about Your Life, I thought it might be a good time to ask you about your organising style, your organising wishes and whether in fact, it even matters. I’d like to get a conversation going with the help of some Q & A.
Let’s start our delving with an easy but important question…
So, now you’ve taken a look at how organised you feel. I wonder, does it matter?
Is it possible that being organised matters in some things, and not in others? Like, it matters to be able to find the first aid kit in an emergency, but not so much all the Lego pieces in your child’s bedroom/on the kitchen bench/in the bathroom. Remember this month, it’s all about you.
I could do with a personal coach who helps me to get more organized. I don’t want him or her to do my work but to teach me how do to it myself more efficiently. Sigh!
But Ulla, that’s exactly what Angela does. Surely it couldn’t be all that difficult to co-ordinate time between Germany and Aust. What’s more the Euro has markedly more value that the AUD!
@ Anne, Chris, Karen – Now now ladies there are enough PA/VAs around for everyone.
@Ulla – I hear you! Much better to learn the skills you need, and to set up systems which work, than to just put things away, or even have someone else do it for you. An investment in knowledge is never wasted.
Truth is, my productivity plummets if my work-space, notes, etc. aren’t organized. It’s a daily struggle getting things in order sure, but I make sure to get just a wee bit done the night before so that I can kick off the new day full speed ahead!

Oh give me an organised PA any day and every day. I think I could keep an army of PA’s busy here.
Get out of the way Anne Maybus, or we’ll be fighting like two harridans for that PA!
Ha! Sorry girls, surely I must be first in line for a PA/VA??? And a housekeeper, chef, chauffeur… sigh.
Love this poll Angela! Great idea, and I’m really looking forward to watching the results…
