I would like to have a dinner with Madeleine L'Engle, Leonardo da Vinci, and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

I would tell them how much their lives and works have inspired me to become the person I am today, then I would ask them how best to teach my children and my students.

And I would never want the day to end!

There are so many inspirational people past and present that I had a difficult time narrowing it down, but here you have it:

Gandhi
Q: If you were ever angry, how did you remain calm?

Wayne Dyer
Q: Were you disappointed having a heart attack after all the work you had done on your self mastery and spiritual journey?

Frederick Bailes (so giving in helping everyone else)
Q: Do you consider you had a happy life?

Interesting, spiritual conversations I suspect would be the go. As for food......!

Angela - thanks for being first to participate! I must say your chosen dinner companions and the opening question are very inspirational! Here's to strong women of integrity making the world a better place!

Sara - welcome and thank you so much for being our second participant here to take up our Challenge! I'd love to be a fly on the wall at YOUR dinner... I'm sure the roast was great, and the combination of these three men would certainly make for an awesome experience!

Let's see, I think I would invite President Barack Obama, Bobby Kennedy and Nelson Mandela. An odd combination but I think the conversation with these three leaders would be an awesome experience!
As for my question I think I would start it off by asking, " How did you like the roast?" and then follow up with " Ok let's fix the world. Any ideas?" : )

Well first I’d invite my daughter, because I’d want her to hear what the others have to say. Then I’d invite Christine Nixon (former Victoria Police Commissioner) and Diana, Princess of Wales, both women of integrity, who have achieved great things, who quietly used their power to make the world a better place, and who display(ed) poise and dignity in often difficult circumstances. And the question I’d ask them, "What keeps you strong in times of adversity?"

I can’t wait, I'll set the table right now!
