		<description>A brass house number and letterbox that is polished every week does take on a rather nice smooth and almost golden quality. However, without a regular polish the brass will soon tarnish and darken. When time is at a premium, to keep the brass on your house number and letterbox looking good you should apply a few coats of a clear spray laquer - should last a good few years!</description>
