I thought I’d so something just a little different in The Music Space this month. Since we’re talking about Dreams, I thought it would be fun to share some songs about dreams… until I did a search! It seems that a whole lot of songs are written about dreams. Somehow music and dreaming go together.
So instead, a small smattering of songs, artists, and movies that all bring dreams to mind.

Re Karen’s “The Music Space” on the topic of dreams, I think song lyrics which would inspire your readers are those of “Dare to Dream”, sung by Olivia Newton-John and John Farnham at the Sydney Olympics. It’s a song that completely passed me by, until our choir learned it and started using it for a number of “gigs”. And it always gets such a great response – because it is inspiring! Try googling the lyrics, and you’ll see what I mean.
Katherine – thank you so much for letting me know about this song. Like millions I watched the Sydney opening ceremony with awe, but I cannot remember details now…
